It was the simplest of birthday gifts. And most of the time, those are the best.
Bekah contacted me this winter about booking a photo session as a birthday gift for her mom. Between Bekah’s university schedule and the Wisconsin weather (cold, snowy, cold, grey, snowy, cold), the session date got pushed back until this week.
The day was chilly, but otherwise perfect. The ground just barely green. Coupled with the creams and warm browns that precede our blast-of-color spring, the lake was the perfect backdrop for this family shoot.
Bekah’s mom Peggy brought Max, their family dog. Max and I met years ago at one of my Kibble and Cameras benefits. I had forgotten about his love for green beans. (Max works for beans!)
This session was a one-of-a-kind gift from daughter to mother, and I can’t wait for Bekah and Peggy to see all of their images!
