Most people don’t know it, but I got my start as a dog photographer.
Sort of.
I was just a kid, and the only subjects that would sit still for me were our family’s English Springer Spaniels. (They loved me, and the treats didn’t hurt either.)
Under my Dad’s guidance, I shot and developed black and white prints which ultimately became my 4-H project at the Sauk County Fair.
I have an affinity for all sporting breeds, so photographing Maisy was like coming home.
