It’s no secret that fall is my favorite season. After photographing seniors, babies and families all summer, I definitely get a second wind once the foliage offers crimson and gold, and the air is crisp and clean.
This morning’s photo shoot was inspirational. Marek, a senior swimmer and runner, had the wonderful idea to have part of his session at Mirror Lake in Lake Delton. Since he knows the trails like the back of his hand, he knew where the best light would be.
After photographing him in the beauty of the park, he quickly changed into his Speedo (drawing a crowd on the boat landing), I set up my lighting, and he plunged into the water. Did I mention that it was only 54 degrees?
Three passes swimming Butterfly and I knew we had our shot.
