With spring well on its way, I had decided not to post any more photos of our recent trip out west. After all, why would anyone want to look at blue skies and green grass when spring is popping up all over here in Wisconsin?? (NOT)
Have you had a look outside lately?
To help us get through this very temporary December-like weather, here are a few shots from Valley of Fire State Park.
We rented an amazing Harley-Davidson motorcycle in Las Vegas, threw on our chaps and jackets, and took off. (Yes. We wore helmets!) I was in-between a photography workshop and a trade show, so it was good to get away from the city for just a bit. And a welcome break in the middle of our seemingly endless Wisconsin winter.
Note: I would have been smiling in the helmet self-portrait if I knew that it would turn out! All of these photographs were shot while Mr. Harley was driving, well, FAST, on curvy winding roads. Amazing little camera!
