Wisconsin photographer bares white, pasty ankle in sunny Florida

Ok, just so you know right off the bat, I am NOT in this photograph…

But it’s true, for part of last week, I was in sunny Florida. A work-related trip. I took enough reading material and layouts to last me days…

Butterbeer, anyone? I had one. Ask me how it was…

We had a day off, and for that, we headed to Universal Studios to see the new Harry Potter exhibit. We arrived as early as possible, and the wait for the big ride was only 1+ hour. Well worth it though. (Note to self: Remember to eat a bagel or something before flying over Hogwarts with Harry Potter… ugh. It is so very realistic!)

Hogwarts…from a distance.

It was a fabulous trip. One day of torrential rain which I used to WORK. (And have I got great ideas for 2012 seniors!! YES!)

One day back in beautiful Baraboo, and I hit the road again, this time for a college visit.

This is how the trip started.

Our campus tour of UND, though delightful, was an hour-long walk in -20F, snowing weather. And that didn’t factor in the wind chill!

UND on the coldest day of the year…so far.

There is a reason that many of the buildings in Grand Forks are connected by skyways and tunnels.

Lest I forget, we took in a conference hockey game at the Ralph. Go Fighting Sioux!!

Needless to say, after a day of flying, followed by 18 hours in a car (in two days), I was ready to come home!

Stay tuned to read about the snazzy new camera I used to snap these pics!
